It’s now been revealed by Kevin Feige that the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie will be R-rated and the script is being overseen by Ryan Reynolds. This news was revealed by Feige during a recent interview with Collider.
Deadpool 3 is in a bit of a strange place at the moment. We still don’t really know what’s going to happen with the film, yet we know now that the movie has a writer and that it’s being worked on over at Marvel Studios.
The movie is being written by Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux and according to Feige, Ryan Reynolds is overseeing the script, which is very good news indeed.

Here’s what Kevin Feige had to say about Deadpool 3 being R-rated:
It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.
