Dead Space’s writer, Antony Johnston has teased there will be a huge reveal made at the PS5 event this week. Could it be Dead Space 4?
Johnston hasn’t only worked on the Dead Space games, but it’s certainly the biggest video game franchise he’s ever been a part of.
The last Dead Space game, Dead Space 3, didn’t review very well.
There was a reason for that. The game forgot that it was a horror game first and just became a bit of a mindless action game.
However, the upcoming PS5 event could mark a return for the horror video game franchise.
Johnston took to Twitter to reveal that he’s been working on a project for two years and that it will be revealed at the PS5 event this Thursday.
Is Dead Space 4 going to be announced at this week’s PS5 event?

Here’s what Johnston said in full on Twitter:
As some of you know, I’ve been working on a big videogame for almost 2 years now. In totally unrelated news, you should all watch the PS5 launch event on Thursday.
Now, it is very possible that this won’t be Dead Space 4.
It could be something completely new.
The reason why Johnston might not be referring to Dead Space 4 is due to the fact that the franchise is owned by EA.
If they are making a Dead Space follow-up video game, then it would most likely be revealed at their own event.
They wouldn’t want to release such a huge title at PlayStation’s event.
That said, stranger things have happened and given the current COVID-19 situation, they might have decided to work together on this one.

I would love to play a remastered versions of all 3 games with added story and more side quests
Or………
Have a reboot. Of all 3 games with way more creative and awesome death scenes , two different story mode for solo play or co-op play, more creative bosses and mini bosses plus sub boss , use issac’s engineering skills to build weapons or tools from around his environment or off dead body’s or necromorphes
Customizable suit
On co-op player has there own special skills and trade to help out the story
Lastly set up for 2 more sequels to compel the story
Take a break. Out of all three games, this one has the best death scenes, two story modes (solo or co-op), more unique bosses, mini-bosses, and a sub-boss, and you may use Isaac’s engineering talents to craft weapons and tools out of anything he finds around you or even necromorphs.
