It’s being reported that David Tennant will be returning in the MCU as the villain he played in Netflix’s Jessica Jones series.
This report comes from Giant Freakin Robot, and I do want to warn all of your to take with report with a big pinch of salt.
I’ve reached out to Tennant’s team for a comment on this report, and we are still waiting to hear back from them.
I’ve also asked sources we’ve worked with for years for any sort of confirmation.
One insider did say that it wasn’t something they had heard about, but they did add that “it wouldn’t come a surprise”.
However, that’s not a confirmation that David Tennant will be returning as Kilgrave in the MCU.
That said, he would be the sort of actor that Marvel Studios would be very interested in working with again.
David Tennant would be great as Kilgrave in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

He was one of the best things about the Jessica Jones series on Netflix.
Tennant’s Kilgrave was only in the first season, and I do think the show suffered when he was no longer part of it.
It would be great to see him back as Kilgrave in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
If Marvel Studios is thinking of bring Kilgrave back, then they really have to get Tennant to play the role.
What do you make of this rumour?
Would you like to see David Tennant play Kilgrave again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
