David Ayer, even though he said he wasn’t going to talk publicly of the Ayer Cut anymore, has thanked the #ReleaseTheAyerCut movement on Twitter.

Back on August 13th, the Ayer Cut community all got together and did their very best to get #ReleaseTheAyerCut trending on Twitter.

And you know what, they succeeded.

On Friday, the hashtag was one of the top trending ones on Twitter.

It ended up getting over 403,000 mentions on the social media platform and even Ayer himself was shocked by that number.

He was also shocked by how much support his movie’s been getting recently.

So, Ayer then went onto Twitter to thank the fans for being so positive and trying to get his cut of Suicide Squad released.
