It’s been revealed that Daredevil will be getting a comic book-accurate suit in the upcoming Disney Plus Marvel shows. This news comes to us from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity.
This is something that fans have wanted to see for years. I loved the Netflix Daredevil show, however, one of the issues was that Daredevil suit, which wasn’t what we fans wanted to see. It was actually better when Daredevil was going around in the home-made suit.
However, it sounds like we’ll be getting the comic book-accurate suit in the upcoming Disney Plus Marvel Studios shows. This is fantastic news!

According to sources, that will apparently not be the case when Marvel Studios brings him back. Netflix toned down the super heroics; Marvel Studios, on the other hand, will dive headlong into it. I am told that Marvel Studios is interested in showcasing some of Daredevil’s more outré foes such as Stilt-Man and the Jester. Such bad guys were simply too weird for the crime drama aesthetic that Netflix aimed for. (Throwing in a Stilt-Man Easter egg was as close as they got.) Disney hasn’t decided which of their streaming platforms where Daredevil will be born again. Under Netflix, Daredevil was pretty good; with Marvel Studios, he will be magic.

Oh god no. The Netflix show suit is so much better!
I’m a fan of both
It’s a bit early to make a comparison like that. We haven’t even gotten official news about Daredevil joining Disney Plus. And we don’t even have a picture of what he could look like. Based on what they did with Captain America, who is one of the rare MCU individuals wearing a full costume, Daredevil will get something that’s a cross between the Netflix one (the second suit) and the classic one from the comics. They might even go against both ideas, since at one stage in the last few years, Daredevil’s classic costume had its colours reworked with black being the main colour with a little red. I’m keen to see whatever they plan.
I’m a fan of both, but excited to see Charlie Cox in a new suit!
