It’s being reported that Spider-Man and Daredevil will team up in a future MCU movie, which is just like they’ve done in the comics. This rumour comes to us from Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton, who’s got a pretty good track record as far as these things are concerned.
This news comes just after it was revealed that Daredevil’s movie and TV rights are heading back to Marvel Studios on Sunday. Therefore, it makes sense that Kevin Feige and co. already have grand plans for the character. That said, I do find it a huge shame that we won’t get to see Charlie Cox play the role again.
It’s looking more and more unlikely that Marvel Studios will cast Cox in the role. The reason for this is because Kevin Feige is rumoured to not want the MCU versions of the Marvel characters to be the same as the ones used in the Netflix shows. He would rather just recast the roles and start from scratch.

As for Spider-Man and Daredevil teaming up in a future MCU movie, that does make perfect sense because they’ve both had dealings with one another in the comics. They also both operate in similar areas and it would be logical to assume that they would end up meeting at some point in the future.
One of the things I really wanted to see was Matt Murdock representing Peter Parker in court in Spider-Man 3, and I really wanted Charlie Cox to play the character. It looks like my dreams will not be answered on that front.
That said, I am really interested to see who Marvel Studios ends up casting in the role. Murdoch is a fascinating character, both as Daredevil and as Matt Murdoch, the amazing lawyer who happens to be blind.
