It was rumoured a few weeks ago that Dane DeHaan will be returning as Green Goblin in Spider-Man 3, but he’s now debunked those rumours. He revealed that he’s not in Spider-Man 3 during a recent interview with The Radio Times.
So, there were so many rumours suggesting that a load of former Spider-Man movie actors were going to be returning to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 movie. We’d heard rumours suggesting that Willem Dafoe, Dane DeHaan, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were all coming back for this upcoming Spider-Man movie.
Well, DeHaan’s now claimed that he will not be returning to play the Green Goblin in Spider-Man 3. DeHaan played the character in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and he was pretty bizarre. Again, this wasn’t his fault. They took strange decisions with the character.

Here’s what DeHaan told The Radio Times about those rumours of him being in Spider-Man 3:
There’s no truth to those rumours. I don’t even know how that would be pulled off. I would certainly love to make some kind of movie like that again. I like making superhero movies or in that kind of world and I’m sure I’ll find myself in that world again. And I have no idea what they’re doing with the Spider-Man movies now, but I don’t really understand a world in which that would be possible.
