Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 is actually one of our most anticipated shows to be released on Amazon Prime Video, and for good reason. I’ll explain why I love this series so much in a minute. It’s easy to understand why so many people are looking forward to the second season being released on the streaming platform. However, when will that be? Have Amazon or Jeremy Clarkson himself revealed the show’s release date yet? Let’s investigate.
However, before we get into the weeds of this story (something that Jeremy Clarkson and his team might have to deal with in the second season), we need to let you know that not all the answers are out there at the moment. However, we will update this article as soon as we hear anything about the second season’s release date. So, without any further ado, let’s talk about Clarkson’s Farm Season 2.
When will Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 be released on Amazon Prime Video?

The first thing we have to clear up is that the series’ second season is coming out. This was revealed not long after the first season was released on Prime Video. Clarkson’s Farm was confirmed for season two in July 2021, with filming commencing shortly afterwards. On the announcement, Dan Grabiner, Amazon Studios’ head of UK Originals, said the following:
Clarkson’s Farm is Jeremy’s unfiltered love letter to farming. It is that authenticity, charm and humour, combined with the farm’s fantastic characters, which have made the series such a remarkable hit with audiences.
Jeremy and right-hand man Kaleb Cooper then made a video together to confirm their side’s announcement. It was revealed that they started filming the second season and that it would take at least a year to complete filming. They eventually finished filming in July 2022, so that means that the show has been in post-production ever since.
Clarkson himself confirmed that they finished filming via his Instagram account. He also showed off his new duck ponds that he very proudly revealed that he had dug himself. When one eager fan commented, “Any news on season two?” Jeremy responded:
Filming ends in mid July. So it should be edited and ready to go early in the new year.
So, this means that the second season should be released in early 2023. I think that the second season should be with us in February or March of 2023. We will let you know as soon as we hear any new information about the second season’s release date.
What could happen in the second season?

So, what about what could happen in the show’s second season? This is something that I and many other fans are desperate to know about. One thing we do know is that the second season will see Clarkson digging his own duck pond, which I’m sure will be hilarious. It also looks like we’re going to see Clarkson and his colleague, Kaleb Cooper, harvesting, farming, and generally just mucking around.
Before the show’s first season was released on Prime Video, Jeremy revealed:
I’ve had the farm since 2008, but I haven’t really been involved with it at all. A man in the village ran it, and then he retired, and I don’t know what it was, but I just thought, I can do that.
I genuinely thought you put seeds in the ground, weather happens and then food grows. So I thought, ‘That’s not difficult,’ but it’s phenomenally difficult and the heartache is extraordinary, plus it’s phenomenally badly paid. So I thought, if I get someone to film me doing it, that will offset some of the losses.
It seems like the show’s second season went a lot smoother than the first. The first season was supposed to only film for a year, but then the Coronavirus pandemic hit, and the production was delayed a lot, and Clarkson’s farm suffered greatly. It made for a really interesting first season. However, the second season did take a year to film, and I think that Clarkson might have learnt quite a lot, but he’s still Jeremy Clarkson, so I’m sure he’ll be an idiot and make loads of mistakes.
Season two is also going to see more drama, with Dan Grabiner (Amazon Studios’ head of UK Originals) teasing what’s to come at the Edinburgh TV Festival in August 2022.
We’re just going into the edit now and it’s looking very good. More Kaleb Cooper, more Gerald. You can understand a little bit more of Gerald this time. I think maybe every season, you’ll understand a few more words of Gerald. It’s going very, very well. And also it’s just great to see someone like Kaleb, he had never been on television before.
He’s an authentic – he was the tractor driver who happened to work nearby the farm. And I think it just shows you that new talent, particularly that sort of expert, authentic talent can just explode with the right vehicle and the right approach to the show. So I think observing his rise has been really an exciting part of that show.
I also think that we’re going to see Clarkson expand his business in season two. It was revealed that the former Top Gear presenter had “accidentally bought a pub” after buying a brewery… Interesting.

There had been some rumours that the show had been cancelled after the first season. However, the show ended up being so popular on Amazon Prime Video that they just had to renew it for a second season. It was then revealed that the show was renewed for a second season, and I’m pretty sure that Clarkson and Amazon will want to make more seasons of this show moving forward.
Let’s be honest, it’s not a hugely expensive series for Amazon to make. Clarkson probably gets paid quite a bit for it, but he has to pay for all the farming equipment and things like that. I think that Amazon just pays the filming crew, Clarkson himself and perhaps Kaleb as well (at least, I hope they pay him. He’s the best thing about the show!).

There hasn’t been an actual trailer for the show’s second season yet. However, there are a lot of videos on YouTube in which Clarkson and Kaleb talk about season two. I’m sure they’ll release a trailer for season two pretty soon given that they finished filming a while back. We’ll update this article as soon as a trailer for season two has been released.
