WARNING: There are SPOILERS for Doctor Strange 2 and Charlize Theron’s involvement in the movie in this article.
Before Doctor Strange 2 (Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness) was released there had been some rumours that Charlize Theron was going to cameo in the movie.
Well, I was sitting there when the credits on the movie started to roll and I did start to wonder where Charlize Theron was in the movie.
Then the mid-credits scene started and all was revealed.
Charlize Theron turned up in the scene as Clea and she is a very interesting character in the Marvel Comics.
Clea actually had a relationship with Doctor Strange and she ended up becoming the Sorcerer Supreme of the Dark Dimension.
However, there’s been a lot of dark moments with Clea in the comics.
She’s ended up becoming Strange’s enemy in some comic book runs and she is extremely powerful.

In the mid-credits scene, Clea tells Doctor Strange, “You caused an incursion, and we’re going to fix it.”
Strange doesn’t seem to recognise her, but nonetheless, he joins her in stepping into a portal to her home: the Dark Dimension.
It’s going to be very interesting to see what Doctor Strange and Clea get up to in the MCU after this first meeting.
