Charlie Cox Doesn’t Think Daredevil Is Suited For A PG-13 Rating

Well, well, well. It seems as though Charlie Cox isn’t too sure whether Daredevil would really suit a PG-13 rating, which we’re very much in agreement with.

It was revealed not too long ago that the Daredevil Netflix TV series will be landing on Disney Plus on March 16th.

So, this means that fans will get to watch the series in its entirety on the streaming platform after it was taken off of Netflix.

However, there were some fans – myself included – that were a bit worried that Disney might take some of the more violent scenes out of the show.

Well, it’s been revealed that the shows will not be edited for the platform.

Instead, Disney have implemented a ratings system on their Disney Plus app in the US.

The Netflix Marvel TV shows have been put on Disney Plus STAR in most other territories.

With these shows being brought over to Disney Plus, people have wondered whether this means they’ll make another Daredevil series.

Charlie Cox revealed during an interview with ComicBook.com, he revealed that he would love to see what Marvel Studios could do with the character.

However, he also added that he wasn’t sure whether the character would work in a PG-13 environment.

I wouldn’t put it past the folks at Marvel to be able to accomplish that. I’m such a fan of everything they’ve done so far, I wouldn’t underestimate them at all. So if they wanted to make a more PG version of Daredevil, I back them to find a way to do where it feels totally in keeping with everything we’ve done. And maybe there’s a little less blood, maybe there’s a little whatever, but I back them to do it.

So it absolutely can work, but I guess what you can’t deny is Daredevil is never going to work as well in a PG world as Spider-Man does. Do you know what I mean? That’s the point. I think that the age of the character, the Christian guilt, his history with women and stuff, it’s like it’s a little bit more mature, it has to be.
