It’s been revealed that Castlevania Season 4 will be the show’s last and Netflix has opted not to continue with the show.
This news was revealed both by Netflix on Twitter and in a subsequent Deadline exclusive article.
So, Netflix revealed that Season 4 of Castlevania will be released on May 13th.
This date does seem very apt for a show all about vampires and demons.
However, they went a step further than just revealing Season 4’s release date.
They also dropped the news that this would be the show’s final season.
Here’s what the tweet’s caption read:
This is where it all started. The final season of Castlevania arrives May 13.

Deadline’s article went a step further than Netflix’s tweet, however.
They revealed that Netflix is working on a show that will be set in the same universe at Castlevania.
However, they do not reveal the name of the show.
That said, they did reveal that the show would feature an entire set of new characters:
I hear Netflix is eyeing a new series set in the same Castlevania universe with an entirely new cast of characters.
This does sound interesting, but whatever this show ends up being, Warren Ellis will not be involved.
He’s been put to one side after he faced sexual misconduct allegations – allegations he firmly denies.
