Will Dracula Return In Castlevania Season 4?

WARNING: There are SPOILERS for Castlevania Season 3 in this article. So if you haven’t watched the show, go and watch it and then come back to this article!

Castlevania Season 3 has just come to an end and people are already asking when Season 4 will be released.

With this in mind, I thought it would be a good time to try and figure out whether Dracula would be returning in the next season of the show.

Dracula was a huge part of Seasons 1 and 2. However, Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades and Alucard managed to defeat him at the end of Season 2.

This left a lot of fans of the show and the video games wondering what might happen next.

The show’s writer, Warren Ellis, revealed that the first two seasons of the show were inspired by the video game, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse.

However, Season 3 went in a rather different and interesting direction.

We’re now not so sure what Castlevania Season 4 will hold for us.

However, I did come up with some theories in a previous article, which you can read here.

But, back to Dracula. Season 3 saw that he was with his beloved wife, Lisa, in what seemed to be Hell.

The portal was opened by the night creatures to try and make him come back.

There was an excellent scene where we could see Dracula holding his wife in an abandoned house.

He then saw the portal and reached out towards it before it was closed.

It’s unclear whether he was reaching out to try and get back to Earth, or whether he was trying to close it.

I supposed we’re going to have to wait and see, but the fact he was there with his wife in his arms makes me think it was the latter

I don’t think Drucla wants to leave Lisa behind there and he should be happy to be with her again.

What could happen is that he ends up being brought back and he ends up killing a load of people in a rage because he didn’t want to be brought back?

That said, I don’t think that will happen in Castlevania Season 4.

I highly doubt that they’ll bring him back in Season 4 because if they’re going by the games, then it won’t be another 100 years until he returns.

If they jump 100 years into the future, then we won’t know what happened to Trevor and Sypha.

Alucard might still be alive and we’d be dealing with another Belmont.

That would probably be Trevor and Sypha’s grandson or granddaughter.

That would be interesting and might work, but I think it would be good to finish the trio’s story first.

This means that Castlevania Season 4 won’t feature Dracula and will be all about a huge vampire war.

Camilla has made it perfectly clear that she wants to rule over most of Europe with her sisters.

She’s going to be going into battle and now has Hector under her control to make her an army of night creatures.

It certainly looks like Castlevania Season 4 is going to be an interesting one, albeit without Dracula’s involvement.
