Captain Marvel 2 Might Feature X-Men’s Rogue In A Key Role

Captain Marvel 2 is coming out in 2021 and we’re now hearing reports that it might feature X-Men’s Rogue.

It’s also being rumoured that her appearance in the movie will be more than just a cameo.

According to Superhero Buzz, Rogue will play a key role Captain Marvel 2 which I really would love to see.

It makes sense that Kevin Feige – Marvel Studios’ President – would want to use a character like Rogue in an MCU movie.

Marvel Studios now has the rights to use X-Men characters in the MCU movies.

This is after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox which included the movie rights to all the X-Men characters.

They also acquired the movie rights to the Fantastic Four and Deadpool which means those characters will also appear in the MCU at some point.

As far as Rogue in Captain Marvel 2 is concerned, she would be a great choice.

I think she’d really work well alongside Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel.

Both characters are very powerful and I think they’ll see eye-to-eye.

As for who’ll direct Captain Marvel 2, it’s not sure yet.

We do know that Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck won’t be directing the movie.

They directed the first film, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios is looking for a female director to helm Captain Marvel 2.

I wonder whether Lulu Wang might be up for the gig. I’ll write more about that in a subsequent article.
