It’s been revealed that Captain America 4 is in the works with The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’s showrunner, Malcolm Spellman.
This news was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter.
It was also revealed in THR’s exclusive article that Spellman will write Captain America 4’s script with Dalan Musson, a staff writer on The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.
No one apart from Anthony Mackie has been confirmed for the movie.
He will be the new Captain America in the film, and it’s probably going to carry on from the events of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.

It hasn’t been confirmed whether this upcoming Captain America movie will also feature Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes.
The end of the series seemed to indicate that the two of them – Sam and Bucky – will go on more adventures together.
Could Chris Evans return in the film? Possibly.
There were rumours a while back suggesting that Chris Evans was going to be returning as Steve Rogers in the MCU.
Perhaps this Captain America 4 movie will be that moment.

Spellman’s previously worked as the writer/co-executive producer on Fox’s Empire series.
He also worked as a consulting producer on the crime drama Truth Be Told.
He then bagged himself the showrunner gig on The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.
As for Musson, before working on the Disney Plus series, he was credited as the writer of Iron Sky: The Coming Race.
The movie was an action-thriller centered on Nazis on the moon.
