It seems as though Bruce Campbell has confirmed he’s playing a Doctor Strange variant in Doctor Strange 2 (Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness).
Campbell posted a picture of himself via Facebook getting ready to film a scene in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange 2.
In the picture, the Evil Dead actor can be seen in the makeup chair and he’s looking very much like a Doctor Strange variant.
He added the caption:
I always feel a little strange when I work on a Sam Raimi movie.
He also put the hashtag “#multiverse” and it really does seem to me at least that Campbell has revealed that he’s going to be playing a different version of the Sorcerer Supreme in the movie.

So, what does all this mean?
Well, Campbell has been teasing that he’s going to be in the movie for quite some time.
Campbell and Raimi have done many movies together and they’ve been working together for a long time.
Bruce teased his Doctor Strange 2 cameo during a recent appearance at a fan event called Last Fan Standing:
Here’s the truth. The truth is I may or may not have been in Doctor Strange 2. I may or may not. I cannot confirm or deny my appearance in Doctor Strange 2.
Campbell went on to add: “At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what I say. I could be completely full of shit because they take entire storylines out of these movies while they’re making them and put some entirely new ones in because they’re making 700 of these Marvel movies now.”
