It feels as though Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans been on some kind of rollercoaster in the last few years after the show was initially cancelled by Fox and then picked up by NBC only a few hours later, and we’re now eagerly waiting to know when Season 7’s release date will be revealed.
It turns out that we didn’t have to wait that long, because NBC has revealed that Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7’s release date will be on February 6th, 2020.
But wait, there’s more. NBC also revealed that the very first episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 would be a special hour-long episode.
NBC also went on to reveal that the series will be 13 episodes long and it will air in the 8-9pm slot for its Season 7 premiere episode, before returning the following Thursday at 8.30pm.
Not much – nothing to be exact – is known about what’s going to happen in Season 7, but we do know that the likes of Melissa Fumero, who plays Amy Santiago, will be returning to the NBC show who teased her return via her Instagram account.

Back in July, the 37-year-old actor informed her 1.5 million followers that filming for Season 7 was finally underway and she shared a picture of the cast coming back to Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s set.
This picture also teased the return of her Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast members, Terry Crews, Andy Samberg, and Stephanie Beatriz who could all be seen in her black and white picture in which you can see them all suited up in their police bulletproof vests.
Melissa accompanied the picture with a caption that read: “Season 7. #Brooklyn99 #Day1.”
It also seems as if we’re going to see a lot more from her character, Santiago, in Season 7 as the show’s producer, Dan Goor, revealed what fans could expect to see in Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 7 during his appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
