It seems as though the upcoming Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali is going to be coming out before Captain Marvel 2. This news comes to us directly from Marvel, which revealed a release schedule of their MCU movies.
This all comes after the recent Disney Investor’s Day presentation where Marvel President, Kevin Feige, revealed all the upcoming movies and TV shows in the MCU. There were a lot of them to get through.
One of the films Feige spoke very briefly about was the Blade movie, which is still in the works, although we don’t know much about it. All we really know is that it will star Mahershala Ali the film’s lead.

Here’s the MCU’s release schedule which was revealed during Disney’s Investor’s Day presentation, which showed Blade as coming out before Captain Marvel 2:
Black Widow: May 7, 2021
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: June 9, 2021
Eternals: November 5, 2021
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: March 25, 2022
Thor: Love and Thunder: May 6, 2022
Black Panther II: July 8, 2022
Blade: Undated
Captain Marvel 2: November 11, 2022
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania: Undated
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: 2023
Fantastic Four: Undated
So, as far as Blade’s release date is concerned, it’s still not known when it’ll be hitting cinemas exactly. However, in this chronological list, it’s been put ahead of Captain Marvel 2, which is slated for release on November 11th, 2022.
So, this means that Blade could be coming out in 2022, but I’m not sure that will happen. We still know so little about the movie. It doesn’t ever have a director yet! We’re just going to have to wait and see.
