Black Widow’s trailer dropped online last week and people just could not get enough of it. It’s the character’s very first standalone movie, and it’s taken a long time for Marvel to make this movie which stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff.
However, they finally got it made, and the trailer makes it look very interesting indeed.
It seems to be pretty different from what we’ve seen in the MCU before this. We’ve never really seen a straight-up super spy Marvel movie and I for one cannot wait to see what the film has in store of us Marvel movie fans.
The film will star Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, yet she recently revealed during an interview with Stephen Colbert on his show The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, that nobody told her when the film’s trailer was going to be released.
Here’s what she told Stephen about Black Widow’s trailer:
Nobody told me that it was coming out. I actually woke up and I got a text message from Chris Evans, and he was like, ‘The trailer looks great!’ I don’t know what he was doing up at 5 a.m. That’s a whole other story.
Marvel didn’t tell Scarlett Johansson when the Black Widow trailer was going to drop

First off, it’s nice to hear that Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson still text one another even though he’s supposedly done with the MCU.
Secondly, I find it very odd that Marvel Studios wouldn’t have informed the film’s star when the trailer was going to land online.
Studios tend to make their stars do some big teas before the trailer hits the web, yet Marvel doesn’t seem too fussed about that sort of stuff.
The Black Widow trailer is wonderful though, and Scarlett Johansson seems to be on fine form in the movie.
