Black Widow is easily one of my most anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies to come out in 2020, and we’re now hearing news that its trailer could be coming out sooner than we thought it would.
Black Widow will star Scarlett Johansson as the titular character, and she’ll be joined by the likes of David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov (a.k.a. Red Guardian), Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, O-T Fagbenle as Mason, and Rachel Weisz as Melina.
That’s already a pretty darn good cast, one of the most exciting casts I’ve seen for a superhero movie. But the thing is, Black Widow won’t really be a superhero film.
It sounds like it’ll be more like a spy thriller type of film, which I am so down for in the MCU.
It’s being directed by Cate Shortland who’ll be working off a script from Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, and it sounds like it’s going to be one of the hits of 2020 already (you can quote me on that).
Anyway, we first thought that the trailer was going to be released sometime in January, yet it’s recently been revealed that the Marvel film’s release date has been pushed forward a few days, which seems to hint at the trailer arriving sooner than we thought it would.
Seems like Black Widow’s first trailer might be landing online very soon

So, what happened then? Well, Marvel India announced a change to Black Widow’s release date in India on social media earlier this week.
Instead of the film hitting cinemas on May 1’st, 2020, the film will be coming out a day earlier, on April 30th, which is rather unusual.
There is now an awful lot of people on Twitter suggesting that this tweet could indicate that the trailer will drop earlier than expected, perhaps even as early as next week.
This would be mad if a Black Widow trailer were to be released in December, but it’s looking more and more likely that this might just happen.
Daniel Richtman, who’s often breaking news stories in the world of entertainment news, then posted a gif on underneath Marvel India’s tweet of Black Widow drinking a soda from a straw with a rather knowing look on her face.

It seems as though he might be letting on more than he knows. I’m pretty sure he knows something, and I’m pretty sure it has to do with Black Widow’s trailer coming out very soon.
