It’s now being rumoured that Black Widow is going to be released on Disney Plus on April 16th, 2021 via Premiere Access after a new Disney Plus trailer was reportedly leaked. This comes to us via Everything Always YouTube channel.
Now, this leak could very well be fake. It does seem a bit odd that a supposed Disney employee would bring out their mobile in a screening room where this trailer was showing. That would be career suicide.
However, this might not have come out from Disney themselves. This could be from the people behind the trailer, and a very excited employee who just wanted people to see this trailer. This Disney Plus trailer also revealed that there will allegedly be a Disney Plus 18 section on the streaming service.
The trailer goes on to show a whole host of R-rated movies that will be coming to this supposedly new section of the Disney Plus website. It includes films such as Deadpool, Deadpool 2, Logan, The New Mutants, Alita: Battle Angel, The Kingsman: Secret Service, Widows, Bad Times At The El Royale, The Shape Of Water, Red Sparrow…

Many of these movies now belong to Disney after they acquired 20th Century Fox, and people have been wondering how they would make them available on streaming platforms. Some people were suggesting that they could use Hulu. However, Hulu is only available in the United States. It’s not available in the UK nor the rest of Europe for instance.
So, it would make sense for Disney to bring these films and huge blockbuster franchises to their Disney Plus streaming service. However, many of these films are R-rated or not very family-friendly. Disney is all about being family-friendly. So, they’d have to have this content be password protected to stop the young ones from watching things they shouldn’t be watching.
