The dystopian hit series that originated on Channel 4 from Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones, Black Mirror, is returning with another season on Netflix.
Back in 2020 when series creator Charlie Brooker was asked about further series he was under the impression real life was too close to the bone, with ‘societies falling apart’ not what people wanted to stomach.
If you somehow forgot, 2020 was the year of the Covid pandemic and worldwide lockdowns, so it’s not surprising he didn’t feel it was the right time.
But the good news is a new cast has already been revealed including Breaking Bad and Westworldstar Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett and Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz.
The 5th series which aired on Netflix saw a cast including Miley Cyrus and Anthony Mackie.
This time also joining the cast is House of Cards star Kate Mara.

What stories will we see in the new season expected to air in 2023?
The world has already changed so much over the past couple of years, and the show often uses themes of the real world in its stories.
Perhaps we’ll see some political references, some pandemic stories, and further technological advancements that give us an unnerving chill about what may come.
