The very first teaser for Black Adam was released at DC FanDome and it revealed our first look at Dwayne Johnson in the movie.
It’s been a pretty long time since we last had any real word on what’s going on with the Black Adam movie.
However, all that changed at DC FanDome yesterday.
We already knew that there was going to be something of the movie at the event, and what we ended up getting was an illustrated teaser.
That doesn’t sound great in all honesty, but the trailer wasn’t terrible.
The illustrations were a bit janky, but we also got a voiceover from Dwayne Johnson explaining Black Adam’s backstory.
We also got our first proper look at what his Black Adam will look like in the movie.

After seeing this official teaser, Dwayne Johnson was obviously the only real choice for the Black Adam role.
The illustrations of him as Black Adam are perfect and it does make me what to see actual footage of him in action.
It was revealed that the Coronavirus pandemic has delayed the movie quite a bit.
However, the trailer does reveal that the movie is planning on being released in 2021.
That is very good news indeed.
All I want now is to see an actual live-footage trailer and then get a Shazam! crossover.
