It’s being reported that Aldis Hodge has been cast as Hawkman in the Dwayne Johnson-lead Black Adam movie.
This news was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter and they claim that the actor is now in the final rounds of negotiations with Warner Bros. Pictures.
This means that unless something terrible happens, Hodge is almost certainly going to be playing Hawkman in Black Adam.
You might have seen Hodge in the brilliant horror movie The Invisible Man which was one of the last movies to come out in cinemas before the COVID pandemic closed all cinemas.
He also starred in City On The Hill, however, Hawkman will be his biggest role to date.
The Black Adam movie has been in a state of limbo for a number of years now.
However, it seems that after the film’s concept trailer was released at DC FanDome this year it’s all steam ahead on the movie.

We already know that Dwayne Johnson will be starring as Black Adam in the movie.
However, he was the only name attached to the movie until now.
All we really know about the movie is that Adam Sztykiel wrote the script and that it’s being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.
Collet-Serra has made movies such as Unknown, The Commuter, Non-Stop and The Shallows.
He seems to like working with Liam Neeson a lot so maybe he might get to return for a DC Comics movie.
