With us all being in lockdown at the moment, I thought it would be a good time to go over the ten best action movies of all time.

This will in turn hopefully give you something to watch while you’re stuck at home.

It’s far better than having to look out at the beautiful sunshine outside and feeling miserable because you can’t go out and enjoy it.

These ten movies will be great to watch to take your mind off of COVID-19.

They’ll also serve as a great movie marathon.

However, maybe don’t watch all of them at once.

This list is completely based on my preference and therefore I’m sure many of you will have other action movies that you prefer.

It’s great to start a discussion about one of the movie genres that I and many other people absolutely love.

I’ve always been a huge fan of action movies, ever since I first started being interested in cinema.

I can remember sitting in front of the television watching Dr. No for the first time.

I think that might have been when I really fell in love with the genre, and I would argue that it’s just as much a movie genre as horror or drama.

Action movies can be pretty rubbish at times. I’ve watched a lot of bad action movies (just check out my article on Bloodshot).

However, there are some genuinely incredible action movies and in this article, I’ll give you my top ten.

So, without any further ado, here are the ten best action movies of all time.

There are plenty of films on here that I’d love to rewatch, and I think I might start off with Die Hard and then go all the way down to Mad Max: Fury Road.
