Ben Affleck Reportedly Signed On For Batman Trilogy

It seems as though Ben Affleck will get to play Batman in a new trilogy if this new report is to be believed or is correct. According to Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton, Ben Affleck has signed on for three more Batman movies. He revealed this during an appearance on YouTuber Syl Abdul’s channel. This sounds like we will be in for a fun time in the DC Universe.

So, until now, it was known that Affleck would be playing Batman again in The Flash movie, and it was then revealed that he would be playing the Dark Knight again in Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom. It seems as though Affleck has caught the Batman bug again, as it’s being reported that he’s not only appearing in these two DC Comics movies but another three DC Comics films!

It’s been six years since Ben Affleck’s first debut in the DC Comics movie. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice was technically the first movie in this new franchise, and it made quite an impact. So, according to Mikey, Affleck has signed this new contract with Warner Bros Discovery. It had been reported previously by Giant Freakin Robot that Affleck had been offered a new Batman contract. Well, it seems he’s decided to sign the contract, which means that we’ll see more of Batfleck. Sutton revealed that this would be a Ben Affleck Batman trilogy! We’ve wanted to see that since we first saw Affleck play the iconic role in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Sutton claimed that Affleck has a “story arc for three films”.  Mikey added that Affleck’s new contract also includes an appearance in another DC Comics movie apart from this supposed Batman trilogy. He speculated that this could be the Trinity movie he’s been hearing about. This sounds awesome, and I hope that this is true. We’re going to have to wait and see what happens.

So, all this to say that Affleck has seemingly signed a four-picture deal with Warner Bros, including a Batman trilogy. That sounds perfect to me. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens with Micheal Keaton, who will also return as the Dark Knight in The Flash movie. It seems as though he will be coming back in a Batman Beyond movie, which is what I like to hear.

We were told quite some time ago that a Batman Beyond movie was in the works. However, it does seem as though those plans were put on hold. It seems things are moving forward again with that project, which is excellent news. We might have some information to share with you on that front pretty soon. I’m just making sure that what I’ve been told is legitimate.
