The film is slated for a post-Labor Day release, a date that has become a significant launching pad for horror movies, thanks to successful releases like the It and Nun franchises. Despite concerns that the actors’ strike might delay its release, director Tim Burton has confirmed the movie is on track for its September 6 debut, following a few last-minute shots post-strike.
