It’s been revealed that The CW will not be recasting Kate Kane in Batwoman Season 2 after Ruby Rose’s unexpected exit from the show.
This news has been revealed by Decider who tend to have a very good track record as far as these things are concerned.
They claimed that The CW does not want to recast the character of Kate Kane, which was played by Ruby Rose in Batwoman Season 1.
Instead, TV Line is saying that The CW wants to have Batwoman Season 2 be lead by a new character instead.
This is a rather interesting way to move forward with the show and might avoid any awkward conversations.
It’s not totally clear who this new character will be in Batwoman Season 2.

There’s been a lot of talk about Stephanie Beatriz coming into Season 2 to take over from Ruby Rose.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actress even revealed on Twitter than she’s been prepping for the role by reading Batwoman comics.
Honestly, I would love to see Beatriz lead Season 2 of Batwoman.
I think she’s a terrific actress and would suite The CW show perfectly.
