It’s been reported that a Battlefield 3 Remastered Edition from Electronic Arts could be coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X in the not-so-distant future.
We already know that Electronic Arts is working on a follow-up to Battlefield V.
This game is scheduled to be released in 2021, yet that date might get pushed back do to the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, there are now rumours that EA might also be working on a Battlefield 3 Remastered Edition.
This new version of the game would be for the upcoming consoles: the PS5 and the Xbox Series X.
They tend to do this quite a lot, and yet, Battlefield 3 does feel like a really good game to remaster.

This rumour comes from a variety of sources.
I embedded Okam13_’s tweet about it above, yet there are also some YouTuber, such as Daqarie who’ve also commented on this.
ComicBook.com also did an article on this, so I’m pretty sure this rumour might turn out to be true.
According to both Okami13_ and Daqarie, this rumoured Battlefield 3 Remastered Edition will release alongside the next game in the series.
This would be very similar to the way Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s remastered release came alongside Infinite Warfare.
