It’s being reported that a Batman Beyond series starring Michael Keaton is coming to HBO Max. This rumour comes to us from Bounding Into Comics, and it ties to a report we published a while back.
We actually reported that Michael Keaton had agreed to star in a Batman Beyond series for HBO Max back in October. But, who’s counting, right. As far as I’m concerned, I’m just really looking forward to seeing this show.
What Bounding Into Comics is saying is that this series could be a joint venture between HBO Max and The CW, which would be interesting. However, I’m not so sure how much longer The CW will be involved in the DC Comics properties.

An inside source close to tipster Joe Bateman has relayed to him that, as part of the joint venture between the two television outlets, Warner Bros. may develop Batman Beyond into a live-action show, as WB is allegedly aiming to take advantage of the reintroduction of Michael Keaton as Batman in The Flash in order to kick-start a live-action franchise based on Batman Beyond.
