There are reports that Sony Pictures is developing three more Bad Boys movies with Will Smith returning for all of them.
This rumour comes from serial scooper Daniel Ritchman who revealed this scoop via his Patreon page.
The third Bad Boys movie, Bad Boys For Life was recieved pretty well and did OK at the box office.
The franchise has a very devoted following and Will Smith is still a relatively bankable movie star.
It seems as though Sony Pictures wants to capitalise on this and make three more movies.
If this report is to be believed, then Will Smith and Martin Lawrence might end up returning in all three movies as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

The first Bad Boys movie, which was released way back in 1995, was directed by Michael Bay.
He also helmed the second movie, Bad Boys II, yet the third film was directed by Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi.
It’s unclear whether Bay will be returning to direct any of the next movies.
They could also go for Fallah and Arbi again.
Another possiblity is that Sony might go for completely new directors for each movie.
That would be pretty interesting if you ask me.
It seems as if this franchise might end up looking a bit like the Lethal Weapon movies with two relatively over-the-hill cops taking on bad guys.
