Bad Boys For Life came out earlier this year, and rather surprisingly it wasn’t terrible.
I would argue that it’s the best Bad Boys film since the first Michael Bay movie, but that’s not a terribly high bar.
Anyway, the film was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, and it’s now been revealed that these two directors have taken a meeting with Marvel Studios.
This is actually really interesting because there’s stuff in Bad Boys For Life which shows that these two could be quite special.
I also reckon they’d be suited to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whether it be with Marvel’s upcoming TV shows on Disney Plus or their movies.
They have a good eye for action, and they also seem to work really well with big-name actors such a Will Smith, which is quite an important trait for directors to have nowadays.
Here’s what Adil and Bilah told HLN about their Marvel meeting during a recent interview.
Marvel wants to meet us, not really for something concrete, a film or series.

It’s pretty vague, yet it seems to hint that Marvel wants to bring in new directors into the fold.
This is good news because the MCU needs new and young blood to keep things fresh.
They need ideas to come from all different walks of life and cultures.
Arbi and Fallah are Belgian filmmakers and before helming Bad Boys For Life they made feature films such as Image (2014), Black (2015), and Patser (2018).
It’s also been revealed that they are going to be making Beverly Hills Cop 4 with Eddie Murphy returning as Axel Foley.
