It’s being rumoured that actor Armie Hammer might be recast for the potential The Man From UNCLE 2 movie, which would be kind of strange.
Why do I say it would be “kind of strange” to see Armie Hammer be recast in a The Man From UNCLE 2?
Well, it’s because he really made the role of KGB operative Illya Kuryakin his own in the first film.
I’ve said it here before, I loved The Man From UNCLE.
I thought that both Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer were brilliant in it, and I also really loved Alicia Vikander’s performance in the Guy Ritchie-directed picture.
The movie was based on a popular TV series of the same name which aired back in the 1960s.
There has been talk now of a sequel for years, however, Armie Hammer’s recent antics might mean that he won’t be in the film should it made.
Armie Hammer probably won’t be in The Man From UNCLE 2

According to industry insider, Daniel Richtman, the film’s producers are considering recasting the role of Illya in The Man From UNCLE’s sequel, should they give the project the green-light.
Richtman went on to add that no final decision on what to do with the movie has been made.
There is also the possibility that the character might just be written out completely.

Would you still want to see a The Man From UNCLE 2 even without Armie Hammer in it?
