Arcane Season 2 Officially Renewed By Netflix

Arcane season 2 has officially been renewed at Netflix. Which is of no surprise to us as Arcane season 1 was a massive hit!

As reported by Variety, the streaming service and Riot Games have confirmed that there will be a second season.

The show is set in the League of Legends Universe, and serves as a prequel to the popular 2009 game.

League Of Legends has indeed become extremely popular, winning award after award.

So, it’s no surprise that it would get a series set in that universe, let alone one that has received rave reviews.

Speaking after the confirmation of Arcane season 2 being renewed, the show’s creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee said:

We’re beyond happy about the positive response to ‘Arcane’s’ first season and are working hard with the creative wizards at Riot and Fortiche to deliver our second instalment.

Plot details for season 2 of Arcane are still under wraps. Which is not unusual for Netflix (Strange Things, anyone?) but expect to hear more soon.

However, it has been confirmed that Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell and Katie Leung will all reprise their voice roles of Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn Kiramman respectively.

Arcane is now available to stream on Netflix.
