Anthony Mackie has revealed that he wants to keep on playing Captain America until he’s 65 years old, which is a seriously long time.
He revealed this during a recent interview with Variety which took place after the MTV Movie & TV Awards.
Here’s what he said when he was asked how long he’d like to play Captain America for:
So if I can be 65 and still doing this, I’m crushing it.

Sam was given the shield by Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in Avengers: Endgame.
However, he wasn’t sure whether he was the right person for the job.
He ended up giving the shield back to the United States government, thinking they would just leave it in a museum.
However, they ended up giving the shield to John Walker, and he didn’t turn out to be a very good Cap at all.
It all ended up with Sam getting the shield back and becoming Captain America once and for all.
If Mackie gets his way, then he’ll be paying Cap for many years to come.
