Ant-Man And The Wasp’s second trailer makes the film look like precisely the type of fun movie that we need after to events of Avengers: Infinity War. Check it out here.
Ant-Man And The Wasp is the next movie to come in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and judging by this new trailer, it’s going to be a fun, action and quip-filled cinematic experience, which is exactly what the doctor ordered after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, which I won’t go into here for fear of spoilers, and because I might cry if I start thinking about it.
Ant-Man And The Wasp sees Paul Rudd return as Scott Lang, who was last seen in Captain America: Civil War where he became 65 feet tall – something which he’s obviously very proud of. This time around he’ll have a partner in (Evangeline Lilly) Hope Van Dyne who’ll be the Wasp and is more accomplished than Ant-Man in many ways.
This film also sees Laurence Fishburne join the MCU as Bill Foster, a.k.a. Goliath, who used to run around with Hank Pym’s Ant-Man back in the day. The size banter between Scott and Bill is priceless, and I hope that we get to see at least a bit of Goliath in Peyton Reed’s film.
Apart from that, we see the return of Michael Peña’s character, Luis (Scott’s former cellmate), and there are some other new faces. Walton Goggins makes a brief cameo in this trailer, but I’m more interested in Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost, whose stolen some of Hank Pym’s tech and can now phase through walls and objects like a ghost, hence the name.
