Amber Heard has admitted that she was, as she put it, “horrible”, towards Johnny Depp during their relationship.
She said this during her recent exclusive interview with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie.
Amber said a lot during this interview, including that she’ll stand by her testimony to her “dying day”.
However, it was when she was asked about her relationship with Johnny Depp that I really feel like she started telling the whole truth.
Here’s what Amber Heard said when she was asked about her relationship with the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor:
I did do and say horrible, regrettable things throughout my relationship. I behaved in horrible almost unrecognizable to myself- ways. I have so much regret. I freely and hopefully and voluntarily talked about what I did. I talked about the horrible language. I talked about being pushed to the extent where I didn’t even know the difference between right and wrong. I will always continue to feel like I was a part of this, like I was the other half of this relationship because I was. And it was ugly. And could be very beautiful. It was very, very toxic. We were awful to each other. I made a lot of mistakes. A lot of mistakes. But I’ve always told the truth.

This is actually really interesting to hear her say this, because it’s actually quite different to the story she painted during her testimony in court.
During her testimony, Heard did not want to accept any responsibility for her actions.
It was always Johnny’s fault, and here, for the first time, she’s admitting that she did something wrong, that her actions had a part to play in all of this.
I think that if she had been more open like this in court, maybe, just maybe, the verdict might have been different.
However, she ended up coming off as insincere and people really do believe she’s lying.
Now, I’m not going to go into what I believe, because that might take far too long.
However, I do believe that her saying, “I did do and say horrible, regrettable things throughout my relationship”, is the most honest she’s been throughout this whole ordeal.
