We’ve been reporting on this for quite some time now. The petition to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 is really gaining legs.
The petition which is on Change.org, calls for Amber Heard to be sacked from Aquaman 2 and leave the DCEU.
The reason behind this is due to what happened between Amber Heard and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
It has since come out that the allegations made against Depp on Heard’s behalf might not have been entirely true.
Depp’s since filed a lawsuit against Heard and that’s as much as I can say on the matter.
I won’t go into specifics of the legal battle between Heard and Depp because it’s still ongoing.
However, what we do know is that there have now been allegations made against Heard from her former partners.
These allegations are now pretty and fans took it into their own hands to try and change something.
DC Comics fans opted to start a petition calling for Warner Bros. Picture to remove Amber Heard as Mera in Aquaman 2.

This petition has now reached over 257K signatures on Change.org which is a lot.
This is something which means a lot to many people out there.
Many people feel that someone who’s accused of abusing people shouldn’t be able to work in the public eye.
They certainly have a point and that’s why this petition has gained so much traction online.
The petition claims: “As Amber Heard is a known and proven domestic abuser, Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment should and must remove Heard from their Aquaman 2 film project. They must not ignore the suffering of Heard’s victims, and must not glamorize a domestic abuser.”
It then finishes by stating: “Do the right thing. Remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2.”

With this many signatures, it looks like Warner Bros. Pictures is going to have to stand up and take notice.
I did write an article on which actresses could replace Amber Heard as Mera in Aquaman 2.
There are so many people out there who’d really suit the role and it’s not like roles haven’t been recast in comic book movies in the past.

She fraudulently presented her story of abuse for her own personal gain, duping organizations that stand for womens rights, to vindictively ruin her ex husbands career; also to ride the #MeToo wave, to ensure her continued presence in the spotlight. She spoke out against domestic abuse, all the while being herself the abuser. She is, in fact, a malignant narcissus, similar to the one who abused me. Let’s not reward her behavior!
It is amazing that no mainstream media is covering what she has done and doubt people like variety will admit that they were wrong. But hopefully with the strict Australian domestic violence laws that are about to come her way, she will have to find some new excuses. Even the Australian customs are involved so will be in a world of hurt soon.
Personal Lives shouldn’t affect professional ones. First people were posting videos on YouTube that they found jhonny depps reveal at the end of fantastic beasts was distasteful and cinema goers booed the screen in the theatre. seriously what is wrong with people? Neither johnny depp nor herds professional careers should be affected on account of their personal lives.
Personal life is one thing, orchestrating an involved hoax for personal gain is another……
I signed the petition because I don’t like her as an actress, not what she has done in her private life. I would like to see someone with acting skills in that role, and there are so many good actresses out there that could do that role so much better.
