New Amber Heard Film Has Only Made $22K

A new film called Gully, starring Amber Heard has only made just over $22K at the worldwide box office, which is a pretty terrible result.

You can go and have a look at the film’s Box Office Mojo page to check that this number is indeed correct.

I will say that it’s not an easy time to release a movie in cinemas right now.

Gully was supposed to be released ages ago.

It was originally scheduled for release back in 2019, but then got pushed back.

Then COVID-19 happened and it just got pushed back even further.

It was finally released in select theatres on June 4th this year and made just over $14K domestically.

The rest of the $22K was made overseas, and the film’s reviews haven’t been very good either.

It currently sits with a pretty dismal 27% with critics on Rotten Tomatoes and some of the reviews are genuinely terrible for this new movie.

Here’s the film’s official plot synopsis:

Three teens living in LA, all victims of extreme childhoods, wreak a hedonistic riot across the city over the course of 48 hours, unbound by societal norms. They take us on a rip-roaring ride of drugs and murder across Los Angeles.

Amber Heard doesn’t have a huge part in the movie.

She plays a character called Joyce and her next movie set to be released in cinemas is Aquaman 2, which she is getting ready to film right now.
