It’s been revealed that Amber Heard and her team are still fighting to get her a bigger role in Aquaman 2.
Now, this report comes to us from Daniel Richtman and it kind of fits in with what we’ve been hearing.
We heard that Amber Heard’s role as Mera was being downsized in Aquaman 2.
However, given the positive reaction fans have had to Mera in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, it seems as though Heard and her team are now pushing to have her role expanded rather than reduced in Aquaman 2.
Now, I’m not sure how this will go down with fans, but what I can say is that I’ve heard very good things about her scenes in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

It does seem as though Amber Heard is very close with James Wan and Zack Snyder.
Now, I’m not sure how much pull her friendship with Zack Snyder will give her over at Warner Bros. Pictures.
However, I’m pretty sure that her closeness to James Wan and the fact that he’s a fan of hers will help her in the long run.
She was pretty good as Mera in the first movie, and I think that Wan would want to keep her in the role.
One thing I can reveal for sure is that she will not be replaced by Emilia Clarke in Aquaman 2.
That’s not going to happen.
