All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 In The Works At Netflix

It’s been revealed to us that All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 is in the works for Netflix and should be coming to the streaming platform in 2023.

South Korean shows have been taking Netflix by storm over the past few months.

We’ve seen the likes of Squid Game, Kingdom, Hellbound, My Name and The Silent Sea perform well on the streaming service.

All Of Us Are Dead is yet another big South Korean hitter for the streamer, and we’ve been informed that Season 2 is already in development.

Interestingly enough, All of Us Are Dead’s director Lee Jae-kyoo told The Korean Herald that he hopes to make a second season.

He also added that they left the first season’s ending ambiguous in the hopes of continuing on.

Well, it seems as though Netflix has seen potential in making another season of the South Korean zombie show.

The TV insider informed us that, “Season 2 was always part of the plan”.

They continued:

Netflix always saw the potential in the show and they’re keen to bring subscribers more.

But, what about a release date for this latest South Korean Netflix hit?

Thankfully, we have some news to share with you on that front.

It looks like Netflix is planning to have the show be released on their platform in 2023.

The insider revealed:

Netflix wants season 2 to be released in 2023.

We’re now guessing that it would be more towards the end of the year, given how long it takes to make a show and also it seems as though they haven’t started shooting the second season yet.

Are potential spinoffs are on the table?

Another question we’ve had about this series is whether or not spinoffs might be in development.

It’s already been revealed that Netflix is planning Squid Game spinoffs, and I think that All Of Us Are Dead would also benefit from some spinoffs shows of its own.

They could really develop the world they created in the first season, and it could end up becoming Netflix’s answer to The Walking Dead, only in Korean as opposed to English.

Now, we weren’t able to confirm whether All Of Us Are Dead spinoffs are in the works or not.

However, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that Netflix has plans for a spinoff show.

The show stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo.

It was created by Chun Sung-il, Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su.

Chun Sung-il wrote the show and Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su directed the episodes.

It seems as they’ll all be back for All Of Us Are Dead Season 2.
