Air Force One Sequel In The Works With Harrison Ford

It’s being reported that an Air Force One sequel is in the works, and it’s reportedly going to feature Harrison Ford returning as President James Marshall. This news comes to us via Giant Freakin Robot, and I think there could be a lot of room for an Air Force One sequel. However, I do have to wonder whether it’ll feature yet another Air Force One plane or not. I’m pretty sure it will do

It’s been a while since Egor Korshunov (played by Gary Oldman) and his cronies took control of the President’s personal plane, and maybe we are overdue a return flight. Well, it seems as though there are plans in motion to make another movie, and the rumour mill is suggesting that this reported sequel is going to see the iconic and legendary actor, Harrison Ford, return as the former President. But, will he be on a plane again in this movie? I’m not so sure.

The first film has become something of a cult action movie hit. The film was released back in 1997, and it was really quite thrilling. There have been talks over the years about making another one, but it sounds like the people involved could never really crack the story. Well, it seems as though somebody’s come up with a story that’s got Harrison Ford interested in returning, which means something.

I have to say that it does seem as though Ford has been making it a mission to return to all his previous franchises and finish them off in some capacity. We’ve already seen him return as Han Solo in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Ford also returned as Rick Deckard in Blade Runner 2049. He will also return as Indiana Jones in the upcoming Indy movie, which will be called Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny. Ford has revealed that it will be the last time he plays the role.

It seems as though Air Force One is another property that he’s interested in returning to and probably calling it a day on once the film’s released. My question is, which other film could Harrison Ford make a sequel to? Are we going to see The Fugitive 2, starring Harrison Ford? Or what about Frantic 2?
