Ahsoka Season 1 is coming to Disney Plus pretty soon if these new release window reports are to be believed. This new Star Wars series is quickly becoming my most anticipated series of 2023.
This new series is going to see Rosario Dawson return as Ahsoka Tano. She’s played the role in The Mandalorian Season 2 and The Book Of Boba Fett. I think all Star Wars fans are in agreement that she’s perfect in the role.
Dawson recently revealed that she would love to play the character forever. We also learned pretty recently that Lucasfilm might be thinking of doing more seasons of the Ahsoka series after this one coming later this year.
The first season is being filmed as we speak, and I cannot wait to watch it, and it seems as though it’s going to be released on Disney Plus earlier than we might have thought, which is always good news!

The news that Ahsoka Season 1 was going to be released in the late summer of this year came from Variety’s recent report on all things Star Wars. In the article, they revealed a whole load of stuff, including the news that Lucasfilm is looking to release the new Star Wars shows’ first season pretty soon. Here’s what Variety had to say on the matter:
That announcement, however, will compete with expected updates for at least four Disney+ series, including the final season of the critically acclaimed “Andor”; new shows from Leslye Headland (“The Acolyte”) and Jon Watts (“Skeleton Crew”); and the first major push for “Ahsoka,” a spinoff of “The Mandalorian” and the animated series “The Clone Wars” starring Rosario Dawson that aims to debut in late summer.
It seems as though a lot of pretty cool stuff is going to be announced at this year’s upcoming Star Wars Celebration event, which is taking place in London this year. The event is taking place this April (April 7th to April 10th), and I think we’re going to know a lot more about the future of the galaxy far, far away.
Will Grand Admiral Thrawn be in the series?

One of the big questions that many fans have about the upcoming Star Wars series is whether Grand Admiral Thrawn will play a part in it. We’ve been told that he will and that he’ll be played by Lars Mikkelsen in the live-action series, which is terrific news!
The last time we saw the character was in the animated Star Wars Rebels series. He was stuck on a ship with Ezra Bridger, and it was headed for the Unknown Regions in the Star Wars galaxy. Judging by what we saw and heard from Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2, she’s looking for Thrawn and Bridger.
It’s already been revealed that Ezra Bridger is going to be played by Eman Esfandi in live-action. This, I think, is brilliant casting, and I can’t wait to see what creator Dave Filoni has in store for us with this upcoming series.
