It’s being reported that Quake, who’s a character from the Agents Of SHIELD TV series, could be rebooted as a mutant in the MCU.
This report comes to us from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity.
According to Mikey, Quake is going to be brought back into the MCU, and she’s going to be a mutant, not an Inhuman.
Here’s what Sutton wrote in his article on the matter:
Geekosity has learned that when she does return it will not be as an Inhuman but as a mutant.
In Agents Of SHIELD, they changed Quake’s origins from the comic books.
In the comics, she’s a mutant, however, in the TV series they made her an Inhuman.
However, it sounds like the people over at Marvel Studios wants to change her origins story back to the way it was in the comics.

So, it seems as though Chloe Bennett will get to play the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
And when she does, she will be a mutant – not an Inhuman.
Hopefully, Agents Of SHIELD fans will be happy to see Chloe Bennett return as Quake in the MCU.
As for the show, it does seem as though Marvel has called it a day on Agents Of SHIELD.
It’s sad because the show was pretty darn good, and it could have had at least one more season.
