It’s being reported that the Agents Of SHIELD characters are in line to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which is just superb news!
This report comes to us via Geekosity, and they’re saying that a number of the characters from the popular Marvel show will be returning in other MCU shows.
The likes of Quake will reportedly be returning in Secret Invasion, which is terrific news because Quake is such an important and fascinating character in the Marvel Comics.
The report doesn’t specify whether Chloe Bennet will return to play the role or not.
However, I’m pretty certain that fans of the show will be very disappointed should Marvel Studios decide to recast the character.
We’ve recently seen the likes of Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox return as their Marvel characters in the MCU.
Therefore, it’s pretty safe to assume that Marvel might also like to bring back Bennet to play Quake – aka Daisy Johnson – in the MCU.

I would expect the likes of Phil Coulson (played by Clark Gregg) to return to the MCU at some point in the not-so-distant future.
However, there are plenty of other great characters and actors from the Agents Of SHIELD series that should get a chance to strut their stuff in the MCU.
The likes of Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge should all get to come back as their respective Marvel characters.
It would be interesting to see all of them return.
I’m pretty sure that Wen, given her good working relationship with Disney, will be returning at some point as Melinda May in the MCU.
She’s brilliant and the role would be an interesting one to see in the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe

Moreover, there have also been some rumours that Doctor Strange 2 (In The Multiverse Of Madness) is going to bring back one of the characters from the Inhumans series.
Yes! I know! I thought Marvel would have wanted you to forget that series ever existed!
However, According to FandomWire, Black Bolt will be appearing in Doctor Strange 2.
However, they were unable to confirm whether Anson Mount would be returning to play the role.
Interestingly enough, Geekosity did report that Vin Diesel would be showing up in the MCU as Black Bolt.

We’ll have to wait and see. That said, it’s all very exciting times ahead for the MCU and Phase 4 looks to be very interesting indeed.

Brett Dalton’s character was killed off in season 3, and I don’t see any reason to bring him back. He’s made the odd guest return when the story goes alternate reality, but I honestly see no reason to make him appear in a capacity higher than that, and TBH at this point doing so would likely just confuse people that never watched the show seems they can’t really use him properly anymore.
Bring back Henry Simmonds and Natalia Cordova-Buckley back instead as Mack and Yo-Yo; They ended up being more central to the cast than Ward ultimately was anyway.
