Ace Ventura 3 Might Be Happening With Jim Carrey To Return

There are currently rumours circling the Internet suggesting that Ace Ventura 3 is in the works and that Jim Carrey might return in the lead role.

According to We Got This Covered’s sources, Warner Bros. Pictures is thinking of getting the Ace Ventura franchise back on the road.

This might be because of Sonic The Hedgehog and the fact that people loved Jim Carrey’s performance as Doctor Robotnik in that movie.

I think he was great in the film, however the idea of an Ace Ventura 3 worries me a bit.

Jim Carrey has shown time and time again over the years how talented an actor he really is.

Just watch The Truman Show, Liar Liar and Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind for proof of this.

The idea of an Ace Ventura 3 sounds a bit odd to me.

I did love the first two movies as a kid, but they haven’t dated particularly well.

It’s also very a good idea to return to these sorts of properties.

Just look at what happened with Dumb and Dumber’s sequel.

That was an awful movie and shouldn’t have been made.

I also think Jim Carrey is better than that.

I loved him in Sonic the Hedgehog, but I think he should be exploring more dramatic work.
