It’s now being reported that a solo Storm movie is in development over at Marvel Studios and would be part of the MCU. This rumour comes to us from Giant Freakin Robot.
This is something that I’ve heard rumours about for quite some time now. However, what I do know that is before this Storm solo movie gets made, Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige have to work out what to do with the X-Men.
The X-Men are now back with Marvel Studios and they’re currently working out how to bring them into the MCU. It’s not going to be an easy thing to do, and they’ll have to do it properly. We’ve had too many poor X-Men movies in the past, and I know that Feige will want to do it right.

That said, I do actually quite like the idea of seeing some solo X-Men movies like a Storm film. I think that would be a really interesting thing to do, and Feige might also like the idea.
According to Giant Freaking Robot, Marvel Studios is “working on a project called Marvel’s Storm”. They then go on to state that they’re still not sure whether this will be a movie or a series. It’s a tad wishy-washy, but what they’re claiming is that Marvel Studios is working on a Storm solo project. It could be a movie or a series. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
