Terminator: Dark Fate’s First Trailer Has Arrived And Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Back

The first trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate is here and there’s some epic action from Tim Miller’s follow-up to James Cameron’s films, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is back!

Terminator: Dark Fate is coming out very soon and this film acts as a direct sequel from Terminator 2, which means you all need to forget everything that happened in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys (that one was particularly bad).

The film is going to take place in both Mexico City and the United States. One of the big things shown in this trailer (apart from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s much-anticipated return) is the new Terminator on show here.

It’s called the Rev-9, which could be a reference to the ninth chapter of the Book of Revelations, called Revelation 9. Who knows. Probably the scriptwriters, director, producers and everybody else involved in the movie. But we won’t know until the film comes out.

That said, the passage is all about the Apocalypse, so it’s safe to assume that’s the kind of vibe they’re going for with this new terrifying Terminator.

The new Terminator in Terminator:: Dark Fate

Gabriel Luna will be playing this new Terminator and he trained a lot with Arnold in order to get ready for the role, which shows that he’s willing to go that extra mile to ensure he’s in peak physical condition to play this character. It’s also just cool to get to say, “I trained with Arnie today,” when someone asks you what you’ve been doing all day.

His new Terminator is a bit of a combination of the T-1000 and T-800. However, one neat thing this one can do is that he can split himself into two: one liquid metal version and one solid metal one.

However, Arnie’s not the only actor returning to the franchise. He’ll be joined by Linda Hamilton who’s returning as Sarah Connor. Alongside her will be Mackenzie Davis who’s going to be playing an enhanced cyborg from the future, so she’s a bit like The Terminator in T2: Judgement Day.

She’ll go back in time to hunt this new Terminator and stop it from doing whatever it has planned.

Also, before watching Terminator: Dark Fate, it might not be a bad idea to check out Tim Miller’s previous film, Deadpool. You can purchase it via Amazon, and you go via the link, we get a kickback, which is always appreciated.

Meanwhile, why not check out our articles on the 5 reasons you should be excited for John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and 5 movies you should watch if you don’t think Robert Pattinson would make a good Batman.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be hitting UK theatres on October 23rd, 2019. Are you guys ready for it? I know I am, and I have nothing but respect for Tim Miller after what he did with Deadpool.
