Lucasfilm has confirmed that a new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit the Internet at some point today. Keep your eyes peeled for it.
A new Star Wars trailer is a very exciting thing indeed. It’s almost as exciting as opening you Christmas present on Christmas morning (or whichever religious holiday your prefer… or not…). Star Wars: The Last Jedi (I predicted that title by the way. Not bragging or anything, just stating a fact) is coming out this December, December 14th in the UK to be precise, and all we’ve seen is a two-minute long teaser. So it feels like the right time to get a full-length trailer for Rian Johnson highly-anticipated Star Wars movie. According to Lucasfilm, we will be seeing one at some point today! Time to celebrate, and keep watch for the first signs of a shiny new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer.

There’s not much information about Johnson’s sequel to J.J. Abrams’ The Force Awakens, yet we do know that Luke will train Rey to be a Jedi. We also know, thanks to the line from the previous teaser trailer: “It’s time for the Jedi to end”, that the iconic Jedi Knight might be having a bit of an identity crisis. Everybody, minus Han Solo, will be back for The Last Jedi. John Boyega’s Finn, Daisy Ridley’s Rey, Oscar Isaac’s Poe, Peter Mayhew’s Chewbacca and the late, great Carrie Fisher’s General Leia will all be returning to save the galaxy from evil.
On the other side of the Force, we have the return of Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren, Andy Serkis’ Supreme Leader Snoke and Domhnall Gleeson’s General Hux and Gwendoline Christie’s Captain Phasma. We also know that we’ll be getting to see Kylo and The Knights of Ren in action. There have been rumours suggesting that they’ll be a lightsaber battle between the Knights of Ren, Luke and Rey, in which Luke displays his incredible sword skills and basically ruins Kylo and his ‘Knights’. If that’s true, I cannot wait to see it!
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be in UK cinemas on December 14th. Are you ready?
