The very first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has just hit the Internet and it was certainly worth the wait. Check it out below.
This is pretty big news! Avengers: Infinity War is easily one of 2018’s most anticipated blockbusters and we were warned yesterday by Marvel that the film’s very first trailer would be released today. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It’s chocked full of pathos, superhero goodness, lots of action, Thanos and even the Guardians of the Galaxy make a brief appearance. It’s everything we could have wished for and more. You can check out Avengers: Infinity War’s trailer up above.
The trailer starts off with brief snippets from the movie along with narration from each of the Avengers and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. Fury starts off by saying, “There was an idea.” Then Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark kicks in and says, “To bring together a group of remarkable people.” Paul Bettany’s Vison (who now looks surprisingly human-like) then says, “To see if we could become something more.” “So when they needed us, we could fight the battles…” says Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Scarlett Johanson’s Black Widow finishes by saying, “That they never could.”
It’s truly spine-tingling. We also finally get a good look at Josh Brolin’s Thanos who is the MCU’s big bad and has been pulling the strings from the darkness for so many movies. Avengers: Infinity War will show us what Thanos is really made of and the Avengers will be tested like never before.
The Russo Brothers are once again at the helm of a big Marvel movie, having previous directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. Both of those movies were very well-received and Civil War showed the rest of Hollywood how to make a truly remarkable comic book movie. Not since Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight had I been so captivated and impressed by a superhero movie. Let’s hope they can strike comic book movie gold a third time with Avengers: Infinity War.
Avengers: Infinity War will be heading to UK cinemas on April 27th, 2018. Are you ready for it?
