10 Films You Need to Watch If You’re Thinking of Becoming a Vegan

Here’s a list of 10 films that are essential viewing if you are thinking of making a drastic change in your life by adopting a plant based diet and becoming a vegan.

People seem to think that becoming a vegan nowadays is a fashionable thing to do, however it could very well be the most important thing you do in your life. It’s remarkable the amount of health an environmental benefits you can gain from simply changing your diet. You can lose weight, lower you blood pressure, cholesterol and risk of heart attacks. You can help save water and thus the environment.

Before watching these 10 films (mostly documentaries, but there are a few non-fiction movies in this list too), I thought that becoming a vegan was a tad on the extreme side of things. However, I’ve now been completely won over, mainly thanks to these 10 films.

I know how annoying it can be when people lecture you on the benefits of adopting a fully plant based diet and ditching the meat and dairy entirely. So this is why I’ve decided to compile this list of docs which put forward the reasons why changing your diet could be the best thing you’ve ever done in your life. They explain far better than I ever could, and save you a lecture from me.

Maybe you’ve been on the fence for a while now. Well, these films should help you to decide for yourself what your next move should be. Better yet, most of these films are available to stream on Netflix, so they aren’t too hard to find!

So without further ado, here are the 10 films you should watch if you’re thinking of becoming a vegan:

Babe (1995)

Food, Inc. (2008)

The Cove (2009)

Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead (2010)
